<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device of an image forming apparatus, which is capable of excellently cooling liquid by surely preventing a cooling liquid from leaking from a circulation pipe, even when corrosion and pitting corrosion are caused by a change with time, etc. in the circulation pipe. <P>SOLUTION: A tank 8 in which the cooling liquid is stored and which is open to the atmosphere is arranged on the upstream side of a heat receiving member 5 connected to a developing container 4a, in the circulating direction of the cooling liquid (the direction of an arrow a) and below from the heat receiving member 5. A pump 6 is arranged on the downstream side of the heat receiving member 5 in the circulating direction of the cooling liquid and above from the heat receiving member 5. The cooling liquid is sucked from the side of the tank 8 by the operation of the pump 6, to make the cooling liquid flow into the heat receiving member 5 while making the absolute pressure of the cooling liquid lower than atmospheric pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
