<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged beverage containing nonpolymerized catechin in high concentration, having both of reduced bitter taste and moderately acidic taste without loosing flavor, and suitable for long preservation even containing a sweetener. <P>SOLUTION: The packaged beverage comprises (A) 0.05-0.5 mass% of the nonpolymerized catechin, (B) at least one kind selected from citric acid, gluconic acid, tartaric acid, lactic acid, fumaric acid, malic acid, phosphoric acid, ascorbic acid and salts thereof, and (C) 0.01-20 mass% of the sweetener, has (D) 5-55 mass% of a gallate body ratio of the nonpolymerized catechin, and also has pH ≤5.1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
