<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly sensitive two-dimensional array ultrasonic probe of a large diameter which suppresses the scale of a transmission/reception circuit without being affected by a grating lobe, and an ultrasonic diagnostic system. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic vibrators 20 of the two-dimensional array ultrasonic probe are arrayed in a grid shape in first and second directions orthogonal to each other, acoustic radiation surface side electrodes 23a-23d are provided on the acoustic radiation surface side of vibration elements 22a-22d, and back surface side electrodes 24a-24d are provided on the back surface side. To each of the acoustic radiation surface side electrodes 23a-23d and the back surface side electrodes 24a-24d, a transmission circuit part 26 and a reception circuit part 27 are independently connected respectively. Then, the acoustic radiation surface side electrodes 23a and 23c and 23b and 23d are short-circuited and connected to the transmission circuits 26<SB>1</SB>and 26<SB>2</SB>, and the back surface side electrodes 24a and 24b, and 24c and 24d are short-circuited and connected to the reception circuits 27<SB>1</SB>and 27<SB>2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
