ADAPTIVE BEACON COORDINATION IN COMMUNICATION NETWORK APPLYING MULTIPLE SIGNAL FORMATS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow adjustment of radio medium access by a beacon signal in a communication network applying a plurality of signal formats without mutual compatibility. SOLUTION: A first beacon and a second beacon including medium access information are stored in one super frame. In this case, the first beacon is broadcast as a first signal format and the second beacon is broadcast as a second signal format. Furthermore, pieces of information about signal formats supported by a plurality of clients in the network are collected, the number of required beacons is determined and broadcast.
