PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use available data storage device capacity. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention is equipped with first and second programs. The first program retrieve dictionary data based on a series of key strokes and generates output including a word completing the key strokes or a work meeting the key strokes. The second program loads a first input data block, extracts a combination of characters from the loaded data block and investigates whether the extracted combination of characters corresponds to any of words included in the dictionary data. When the combination of characters corresponds to any of words included in the dictionary data, a reference (Reference) regarding the corresponding word is stored in a first output data block.
