PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform tetrahedron interpolation at high speed using color signal values irregularly distributed in an input color space. SOLUTION: A plurality of correspondence relations between first color signal values expressed by a first color system and irregularly distributed and second signal values expressed corresponding to the first color signal values and expressed by a second color system are acquired, four correspondence relations according to the input color values are selected from the plurality of correspondence relations, the tetrahedron interpolation is performed using the four correspondence relations as interpolation apexes and output color values corresponding to the input color values are calculated.
