PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver capable of displaying a guide which supports the change of speaker's output characteristics in low sound range. SOLUTION: The television receiver 300 includes a display 330 and speakers 340a and 340b. The television 300 receives an input of a place the television receiver 300 is installed and other information via a signal transmitted by a remote control terminal 390 and on the basis of the information, displays information which promotes installation or removal of an acoustic tube to be used by the speakers 340a and 340b.
