PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antenna structure capable of generating an electromagnetic wave having a polarized wave in a direction perpendicular to a substrate surface where a radiation element is installed. SOLUTION: The antenna structure includes a substrate, a linear radiation element installed on one surface of a substrate, and a ground plane installed on the other surface of the substrate, and the linear radiation element has a feed end coupled to a feed point and an open end. The substrate gradually increases in impedance from the feed end of the linear radiation element toward the open end and also gradually increases in relative magnetic permeability from the feed end of the linear radiation element toward the open end.
