PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transparent skin detergent composition having an improved and high detergency to makeup stains and sebum stains even in the case of containing water, good spread during application to the skin, an excellent skin feel during use and quick rinsing and providing the skin after rinsing with a clean feel. SOLUTION: The transparent skin detergent composition comprises 5-15 mass% of a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of≥6 and <12 in a liquid state, a paste state or a wax state at a normal temperature, 5-10 mass% of a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of≥12 and <18 in a liquid state, a paste state or a wax state at a normal temperature, 25-45 mass% of a polyhydric alcohol and 1.0-10.0 mass% of ethyl alcohol and has viscosity of 30-200 mPa s (30°C).
