PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating container in which a container body and a sleeve can be bonded with sufficient strength and can be easily assembled. SOLUTION: The insulating container includes a container body 2 which has a side wall 2a, a bottom 2b disposed on the lower end of the side wall 2a and a rim 2f formed on the lower end of the side wall 2a, extending therefrom, and a sleeve 3 which is formed of a sheet-like sleeve material. The sleeve material is curled toward the center of the container to form an inwardly curled part 3a on the lower end of the sleeve 3, while a bonding region BD to be bonded to the side wall 2a of the container body 2 is formed on the upper end of the sleeve 3. The sleeve 3 is disposed with space which is defined outside the sidewall 2a in at least a portion between the curled part 3a and the bonding region BD. A gap between the tip of the sleeve material curled into the inwardly curled part 3a and the inner wall surface of the sleeve 3 is thinner than the rim 2f. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
