A FASTENING CLIP

The invention provides a fastening clip for holding a heating element to a fixation structure in a building slab. The fastening clip has a bottom surface with a slot extending at an oblique angle relative to the bottom surface into a retention member which holds the clip fixed to the fixation structure. The oblique angle from the bottom surface ensures easy mounting of the clip onto a fixation structure. The invention also provides a tool for handling the clips during a mounting procedure.
