<p>A sun shade includes a glass strand layer sandwiched between a first and second layer of plastic sheet material. The glass strand sheet material is made of directional, for example unidirectional glass fibers. The sun shade may be constructed such that the unidirectional glass fibers extend across the width of the sun shade.
