HIGH FREQUENCY TREATMENT TOOL

A high frequency treatment tool is provided to perform treatment without damage to a muscle layer by regulating a maximum protrusion length of an electrode member through a regulating member. A flexible sheath(2) is inserted into a treatment tool insertion channel. A treatment tool main body(10) is installed inside the flexible sheath and has a straight electrode member(13) formed at a front end of a flexible cord(11) to receive high frequency current. A stopper member(14) is made of electrical insulating material and has an insertion hole to insert and pass the electrode member. A front end reference surface(F) is formed by fixing a position of a front end of the stopper member inserted into the flexible sheath to a position corresponding to a front end of the flexible sheath. The front end reference surface is in contact with an inner wall of a body cavity. An operation unit is connected to a base end of the flexible cord and reciprocates the electrode member between a protruded state from the front end reference surface through the insertion hole and an inserted state into the insertion hole by operating the treatment tool main body in the flexible sheath. A fluid supply unit is connected to the operation unit and ejects fluid from a fluid passage installed on the front end reference surface through the inside of the flexible sheath.
