<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor in which a liquid component is less likely to infiltrate between a housing and a gas sensor element. <P>SOLUTION: This gas sensor has the housing 10 and the gas sensor element 2 arranged penetratedly through the housing 10, at least one part between the housing 10 and the gas sensor element 2 is sealed airtightly by a filled part 14 filled with a powder filler, and the powder filler is under the condition where particles having 80-5,000 μm of particle size is 80 wt.% or higher of total weight in the powder filler before filled. The powder filler is, preferably, in a state where the particles having 100-1,000 μm for the particle size is 80 wt.% or higher of the total powder filler, before being filled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
