<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable crossing obstacle detector capable of reliably detecting whether or not the radar transmission wave turnably covers the entire search range in a crossing. <P>SOLUTION: The crossing obstacle detector comprises turning boundary position detection means 44 (44a, 44b) for respectively detecting the boundary positions at both ends of the turning angle of a radar transmission-reception means 41 to be turn-controlled by a turning means 42 and a turning angle setting means 43, and a turning abnormality informing means 45 which determines the turning abnormality if any turning operation of the radar transmission-reception means 41 is not detected by the turning boundary position detection means 44, and informs the turning abnormality to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
