<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heteropolyoxo methalate compound catalyst which can be used for an acid-base reaction, an oxide decomposition reaction and an oxidation reaction. <P>SOLUTION: The heteropolyoxo methalate compound catalyst is a catalyst for a specific reaction which is used for at least one reaction selected from a group comprising the acid-base reaction, the oxide decomposition reaction and the oxidation reaction and consists essentially of a heteropolyoxo methalate compound. The heteropolyoxo methalate compound used for the catalyst has a heteropolyoxo methalate structure that at least one kind of an element (B) selected from group XI-XV elements is introduced into a defective structure site of a two defective structure site-containing heteropolyoxo methalate anion (A) wherein a hetero atom is silicon, phosphorus or germanium and a poly atom is at least one or more kinds of elements selected from a group comprising molybdenum, tungsten and vanadium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
