PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable contact unit for a switch which offers fine assembly workability to allow reduction in manufacturing cost and power consumption, and suppresses a light guide loss to offer fine illumination quality, and to provide a switch device using the movable contact unit for the switch. SOLUTION: A light-emitting portion 2a of an LED 2 mounted to a board 1 is opposed to a light incident portion 6c of a flexible light guide plate 6 so that light from the LED 2 lead into the light guide plate 6 is projected on the bottom face of an operating key 3 via an illuminating portion 6b of the light guide plate 6. The flexible light guide plate 6 is overlaid on a flexible sheet 9 of a contact-attached sheet member 5, and the undersurface of the flexible sheet 9 is coated with a reflective film 10 formed of a metal thin film. A plurality of movable contacts 12 is arranged on the undersurface side of the flexible sheet 9, and the contact-attached sheet member 5 is disposed on the board 1 so that a group of movable contacts 12 is separably opposed to a group of fixed contacts 7.
