PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional overhead crane that a slide device in a span direction of a traveling saddle has a large dead space in a vertical direction, and it is not possible to cope with an error of a traveling rail in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: In the traveling saddle of the overhead crane, a connecting member 5a of one traveling saddle 3a and a girder 2 are slidably connected through a plane bearing, and a saddle frame 4b of the other traveling saddle 3b and the girder 2 are rotatably connected through a connection shaft fitted onto a bearing fixed on the girder 2.
