PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printing system capable of recognizing the completion of printing to a printing tape with simple constitution. SOLUTION: The tape printing system 1 printing character information on the printing tape T includes a printing completion judging section judging whether or not the printing on the printing tape T is completed, a control section 100 outputting a first signal commanding an information sound when the printing completion judging section judges the completion of the printing, a piezoelectric buzzer driver 116 as an information sound drive section inputting the first signal output from the central section 100 and outputting a first drive signal for emitting the information sound, and a piezoelectric buzzer 60 constituting an information sound section 103 emitting the information sound with the first drive signal output from the piezoelectric buzzer driver 116.
