<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide for a touch panel which requires no alignment of an optical waveguide for receiving lights. <P>SOLUTION: The optical waveguide A1 for the touch panel is installed around a screen of a touch panel display, wherein an end surface of a core 3 for emitting lights is formed at one of the facing parts of the optical waveguide across the display screen and an end surface of the core 3 for receiving the lights is formed at the other, and wherein the core 3 is formed on the surface of an under clad layer (frame body) 2 in a plate frame shape having a shape corresponding to a shape of the screen periphery part of the display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
