<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin-based thin film having a high glass transition temperature (Tg) and excellent resistance to thermal yellowing and to provide an epoxy resin composition for forming the thin film. <P>SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition comprises (a) an epoxy resin, (b) an acid anhydride curing agent and (c) a cure accelerator consisting of a salt of a phosphonium cation expressed by general formula (1-p), wherein R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>4</SP>are each independently a 1-16C alkyl group, and an anionic residue of at least one polycarboxylic acid selected from a bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane polycarboxylic acid and a cylcohexane polycarboxylic acid having a specific structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
