<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat recovery device for bathroom wastewater, to operate a heat pump side to most efficiently recover heat by detecting the temperature of wastewater of hot water remaining in a bathtub and the temperature after heat recovery by a water temperature sensor, measuring a circulation flow rate by a water level sensor for a flowmeter, determining a flow velocity on the basis of Torricelli's theorem based on the height of a measured liquid level, and deciding the state (temperature, flow velocity) at a wastewater side. <P>SOLUTION: This heat recovery device comprises a hot water storage tank 2 disposed in a water supply passage of a water heater 1, supplying the water according to use of hot water to the water heater and storing warm water, a draining passage where the wastewater of a bathtub 4 flows, a heat pump cycle 7 absorbing the heat of wastewater and heating the water in the hot water storage tank, the water level sensor 3 detecting a water level in the bathtub, a water temperature sensor detecting a temperature of the wastewater, and an opening/closing valve 32 adjusting a flow rate of wastewater. The flow velocity of the wastewater is calculated on the basis of the water level in the bathtub, the wastewater is provided with the prescribed flow velocity by the opening/closing valve, and a compressor 35 and an expansion valve 36 of the heat pump cycle are controlled according to the water temperature detected by the water temperature sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
