<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processing apparatus which can shorten the periods of time for an image recording and erasing, and can expand the recording region and erasing region. <P>SOLUTION: This image processing method includes at least either one of an image recording process and an image erasing process. In this case, in the image recording process, an image is recorded on a heat reversible recording medium by heating the heat reversible recording medium by the irradiation with a laser beam. In this case, either one of the transparency and the color tone of the heat reversible recording medium reversibly changes depending on a temperature. In the image erasing process, the image which has been recorded on the heat reversible recording medium is erased by heating the heat reversible recording medium. In at least either one of the image recording process and the image erasing process, the heat reversible recording medium is arranged at a position being farther than the focal position of the laser beam, and at least either one of the image recording and the image erasing is performed by the image processing method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
