PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary material for installation of an escalator framework for safely installing an escalator framework, reinforcing the existing escalator framework, when making a new escalator framework travels inside the existing escalator framework, and to provide an installation method using the same. SOLUTION: This temporary material comprises a temporary rail 6 for travelling a new escalator framework 30 divided into several pieces, temporary wheels 5 provided in each of the divided new escalator framework 30, and a temporary structure 2 provided over side surface trusses 21 of the existing escalator framework so as to suspend the new escalator framework 30 with fixtures fitted to a beam material 4 in the framework of the existing escalator wherein parts inside the framework of the escalator and a truss reinforcing beam 23 for reinforcing a frame structured of a plurality of framework side surface trusses 21 and a framework bottom truss 22 connecting the bottom parts of the framework side surface trusses 21 to each other are removed. The temporary structure 2 also works to reinforce the existing escalator framework 20 wherein the truss reinforcing beam 23 is removed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
