PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vibration and noise occurring in a cylinder of a compressor due to compressing action from being transmitted to a front side plate, a back side plate, and a high pressure case, to prevent resonance of the vibration and noise with engine components causing allophone or uncomfortable sound in the cabin of a vehicle through transmission via an air conditioner. SOLUTION: The vane rotary type compressor has a vibration proof seal 22 of vibration isolation seal structure interposed on contact surfaces of the cylinder 1, the front plate 6, and the back plate 7. This configuration allows little transmission of vibration and noise occurring inside the cylinder 1 by compressing action to the front side plate 6, the back side plate 7, and the high pressure case 13, causing no resonance of vibration and noise occurring in the compressor with engine components and having no influence on the inside of the cabin.
