PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground concrete structure such as a wall-shaped pile and an underground wall, which is ribbed in an out-of-plane direction or in both out-of-plane and in-plane direction, and a construction method therefor. SOLUTION: A concrete pile 10 is composed of a cylinder 12 with an expanded bottom 16, and a wall-shaped body 14 which is coupled to the cylinder 12. The expanded bottom 16 is protruded in the out-of-plane direction of the wall-shaped body 14 so as to constitute the rib 18. In another embodiment, the underground concrete structure is constructed as the ribbed underground wall. Additionally, the wall-shaped pile may also be used in place of the cylinder 12.
