PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a cause of malfunction during loading of a disk by firmly grabbing a disk by a disk support arm even in a state in which a disk inserted from a slot is inclined upward or downward. SOLUTION: The disk device is provided with a disk supporting arm 17 which guides the disk to the inside of the device by supporting a front end side of the disk in the loading direction when the disk is loaded and which pushes out the disk to the inside of the device by supporting a rear end side of the disk in the unloading direction of the disk when the disk is unloaded, and a drive mechanism of the disk support arm, wherein in a standby state of loading of the disk grabbing of the end part of the disk inserted from the slot is made sure by pushing down the disk support arm.
