PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance characteristics, while maintaining mass-productivity, and easily reduce the size thereof. SOLUTION: The cord stopper 3 includes female member 2 having through holes 22 and 23 in the circumference, a male member 1 having through holes 12 and 13 in the circumference, and slidably fitted to the female member 2, and a biasing means 15 to bias the male member 1 in such a direction as to project from the female member 2. As a first feature, the female member 2 and the male member 1 are respectively formed in an axially through cylinders. As a second feature, the biasing means 15 is composed of a coil spring disposed around the male member 1, with one end locked to a large diameter part 11 provided on the projecting end side of the male member, and the other end locked to a step part 21 provided in the inner circumference of the female member 2.
