Disclosed are: (1) an ester compound having a specific structure; (2) a non-aqueous electrolyte solution for a lithium secondary battery having excellent initial capacity and cycle property, which comprises a non-aqueous solvent and an electrolyte dissolved in the non-aqueous solvent, wherein an ester compound having a specific structure is contained in the non-aqueous electrolyte solution in an amount of 0.01 to 10 wt% relative to the weight of the non-aqueous electrolyte solution; and (3) a lithium secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte solution comprising an electrolyte salt dissolved in a non-aqueous solvent, wherein an ester compound having a specific structure is contained in the non-aqueous electrolyte solution in an amount of 0.01 to 10 wt% relative to the weight of the non-aqueous electrolyte solution.
