<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood provided with a blower unit improved so as to suppress noise due to turbulence of contaminated air in an exhaust box of an exhaust device. <P>SOLUTION: The blower unit 2 installed on a hood part 1 is provided with the exhaust box 2a attached on a top plate 1a so as to communicate with a communication opening 7 of the hood part 1, and the exhaust device 2b internally provided in the exhaust box 2a. A directional member 23 for guiding a flow of contaminated air G flowing into the exhaust box 2a from the communication opening 7 through a grease filter 9 provided in the hood part 1, toward a suction opening 22 side of a fan casing 16 of the exhaust device 2b, is provided in the exhaust box 2a. The directional member 23 is bent along an opening upper part rim of the suction opening 7, and it is formed into a substantially inverted U-shape as seen from the front facing the top plate 1a of the hood part 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
