摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas reformer not lowering hydrogen manufacturing efficiency although it is installed in a waste incineration exhaust gas which is a corrosive gas and a high temperature gas. SOLUTION: The gas reformer 10 has the pass for an incineration exhaust gas 23, the pass for a reformer feeding material 11 and the pass for a reformed gas 17, and is installed inside an incinerator 1 for incinerating waste. The gas reformer 10 is installed in a high temperature region at a temperature higher than that of a melt salt corrosion region in the pass for incineration exhaust gas 23, receives the reformer feeding material 11 containing at least one of a hydrocarbon, an ether and an alcohol and steam 13 flowing into it, and generates the reformed gas 17 containing hydrogen by steam-reforming the fed material by using the heat from the incineration exhaust gas 23.
