PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the rolling resistance of a pneumatic tire 1 by reducing the strain energy loss of a tread rubber constituting a tread part 15 while sufficiently ensuring the cut resistance of the pneumatic tire 1. SOLUTION: The intersection width BW of an intersection belt 27 is≥1.05 times the ground contact width GW of a tread part 15. The decreasing quantityδat a ground contact end Pg of a tread part 15 with respect to the height Pc at the center position in the tire width direction Dw on a tread of the tread part 15 is 0.12 to 0.25 H, where H denotes the tire sectional height.
