PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing device and a method thereof capable of improving riding comfort and safety and observing an ordinance as for a rigid frame or a hard-tail machined frame without impairing appearance. SOLUTION: A rear axle shaft 1 is mounted to be in a floating state with respect to the frame through an axle shaft guide block 2 incorporated with an elastic body 7.
