PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape type diaper, improving fittability round the leg, and improving the fittability of a desired region in more simple structure in addition to the excellent wearability and fittability. SOLUTION: This tape type diaper 1 composed of a front portion 2, a crotch portion and a back portion includes: an absorber; a top sheet disposed to cover the surface of the absorber and at least partly made of a liquid permeable material; and a back sheet disposed to cover the back of the absorber and made of liquid impermeable material, and it further includes a fastening tape 10 disposed to extend from the right and left side edges of the back portion to fix the front portion 2 and the back portion; and a front patch 12 for stopping the fastening tape 10, wherein the maximum width (W<SB>1</SB>) of the front patch 12 is 50 mm or more.
