PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type insect pest-controlling apparatus efficiently volatilizing the insect pest-controlling ingredient by rotating a chemical retainer while only attaching the portable type insect pest-controlling apparatus to the human body, etc., without providing expensive driving means such as electric battery, motor, etc., and inexpensively being produced in a compact size. SOLUTION: The portable type insect pest-controlling apparatus 100 is used in a state attached to a human body 13 or a portable commodity. The apparatus 100 is equipped with a chemical retainer 11 for retaining an insect pest-controlling ingredient, a device body 10 in which a chemical retainer 11 is rotatably stored and vent holes 20 and 22 are installed and an attaching means 12 for attaching the device body 10 to the human body 13 or the portable commodity. In the apparatus, a rotary driving mechanism 41 is operated by moving the human body 13 or the portable commodity to rotate the chemical retainer 11. As a result, the insect pest-controlling ingredient is volatilized through ventilation openings 20 and 22 by a blower mechanism 32 which the chemical retaining body 11 has to efficiently control insect pests.
