<p>An electric connector in which a front cover has improved holding force. The electric connector (1, 1') has a housing (10) having a contact receiving cavity (13), the front cover (20) installed on the front side of the housing (10) and having a mating terminal insertion opening (24) formed at a position facing the contact receiving cavity (13), and a retainer (30) attached from the underside of the housing (10) and retaining a contact received in the contact receiving cavity (13). The front cover (20) and the retainer (30) are provided with holding means (27, 28, 32, 33) for holding the front cover (20) at the retainer (30).</p> |
