<p>An introduction hole (3) into which a pipe (P) can be inserted is formed in a pipe joint body (2) in the direction of its axis.Retainer installation holes (12) are formed in a penetrating manner in side faces of a pipe joint body (2), and a retainer (10) for preventing the pipe (P) from falling out is installed in the holes (12). The retainer installation holes (12) are symmetrical about an X-axis passing through the center of the introduction hole (3). Since portions around the introduction hole (3) are symmetrically opened, heat contraction after molding is equalized in the circumferential direction. A molded pin for the introduction hole (3) does not require processing where allowance is made for the unequal amount of heat contraction, and this facilitates processing of the forming pin. Further, the retainer (10) can selectively use the two retainer installation holes (12), so that the two holes can be appropriately used depending on an installation environment.</p> |
