PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in general, when the main scanning size declared in a received JPEG file differs from the main scanning size declared in a communication protocol, the JPEG file can not be decoded. SOLUTION: When the main scanning size declared in the received JPEG file differs from the main scanning size declared in the communication protocol in step S301, the main scanning size of the JPEG file is validated to allow the JPEG file to be appropriately decompressed and printed in step S304.
