PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission circuit, a reception circuit, a differential interface apparatus and a display controller which can obtain a transfer rate capable of coping with the increase of a display data amount caused by the extension of a screen size of a liquid crystal panel in future with low power consumption, and to provide a display unit and an electronic device using the display controller. SOLUTION: The transmission circuit comprises: a means which is connected to a receiving means for converting a current of a differential signal line into a voltage via the differential signal line, and transmits transmission data by controlling currents of signal lines of the differential signal line in accordance with the transmission data; and a means which stops power supply to the means for transmitting the transmission data.
