PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal in which a gap is properly prevented from being produced between two case members forming two casings even if a large load is applied to the two casings in the opening direction. SOLUTION: This mobile terminal comprises a display side casing 11 having a bearing part at one end, a dummy hinge 18 having a rotating part fitted to the bearing part at one end and a joining part at the other end, and a key side casing 12 having one end joined to the joining part. The display side casing 11 and the key side casing 12 are rotatably connected to each other through the dummy hinge 18. The key side casing 12 comprises a key front case 12b and a key rear case 12c joined to each other in the direction perpendicular to the rotating axis of the rotating part of the dummy hinge 18. The dummy hinge 18 comprises a restraining part 25 engaged with the key front case 12b and restraining the displacement of the key front case 12b separating from the key rear case 12c in the direction perpendicular to the rotating axis.
