PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden fire door which is free from aged deterioration even after long-term use and accordingly free from sharp deterioration of fire resistant property, and exerts improved fire resistant property itself compared with a conventional wooden fire door or a metallic fire door. SOLUTION: The wooden fire door is formed of a rectangularly assembled frame, and a wooden fire door body mounted in the frame. The frame has a frame main body and a door stop cushion mounted inside the same. The frame main body has a longitudinal mounting recessed groove formed in a stile side-end face thereof, in which the door stop cushion having a thermo-expandable agent bonded thereto, is mounted. The door stop cushion has a door cushion base portion, the thermo-expandable agent, and a semi-circularly curved cushion piece which allows an end of the wooden fire door body to make intimate contact therewith. The wooden fire door body has a core formed of a plurality of pieces of paulownia glued laminated wood, and a face material formed of a flame retardant member. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
