PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning adjusting tool of a detecting object member of an elevator, easily installable on and removable from a guide rail being a reference of an installation position of the detecting object member, and capable of easily confirming the positions of a plurality of plates by one person. SOLUTION: This positioning adjusting tool has an installation seat 2 attachable to/detachable from an optional position in the vertical direction to the guide rail 1 arranged in a hoistway, a first gauge 5 arranged on this installation seat so as to extend in the horizontal direction when installing the guide rail and having a plurality of marks 5a indicating respective reference positions in the horizontal direction of a plurality of detecting object members 4 used for detecting a car position of the elevator, and a second gauge 6 arranged on the installation seat in the direction orthogonal to this first gauge and indicating a reference position in the direction orthogonal to the first gauge of the detecting object members.
