The device has two rotation units with a set of piston-guiding cylinders into which gases are introducable in a time-controlled manner during an oscillating period and in which gases are divertable in the time-controlled manner during another oscillating period. The rotation units are supported on a common pin (120). Pistons of the respective cylinders are indirectly connected with each other over a gear with a shaft (157) that drives a control disk (130), and are arranged parallel with respect to the pin.
