A continuous casting segment reduction apparatus is provided to prevent lift of segment roll frames and preclude defect in arrangement of segment rolls by forming a sliding unit. A continuous casting segment reduction apparatus comprises a reduction cylinder, segment roll frames(30,40), a sliding unit(50), and a gap adjusting unit(60). The reduction cylinder is connected between reduction frames(14a,14b) placed at the lower part of a horizontal beam. The segment roll frames having segment rolls(32,42) are communicated around a reference axis(20) between the reduction frames. The sliding unit, elastically installed at a cover member(52), has a sliding body(58) attached to a reduction plate(34) to prevent lift of the segment roll frames. The gap adjusting unit, mounted on a first adjusting plate(66) and the segment roll frame, includes a second adjusting plate(68) adhered to the first adjusting plate to precisely control a gap between the lower end of each segment roll frame.
