PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging method which can discharge ink stably, even in case an inkjet head or an ink supply path configured in such a way that a conductive material comes into contact with the ink, is used, and a cationic polymerizable inkjet ink used for this method.
SOLUTION: This imaging method uses an inkjet printer which includes an ink tank for storing the cationic polymerizable inkjet ink (hereafter called "ink") containing a cationic polymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiator, and the ink supply path extending from the ink tank to an inkjet head for discharging "ink". In addition, the inkjet printer uses the conductive material in at least, a part of an ink contact part which comes into contact with "ink", of the ink tank and the ink supply path. Further, the inkjet printer discharges "ink" whose moisture content measured by the Karl Fischer process is 0.01 to 0.5 mass%, to the surface of a recording material, and thereby, forms an image.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
