<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small printer which performs card supply, card discharge and cleaning by one mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 1 is equipped with a card supplying section 10 provided on one side of a casing 2 and supplying cards one by one, a cleaning roller 31 having adhesiveness and cleaning the surfaces of cards supplied from the card supplying section 10, a printing section 50 performing printing on cards the surfaces of which are cleaned by the roller 31, a card storage section 20 provided on one side of the casing 2 of the supply section 10 to get cards printed by the printing section 50 switched back for discharge, and a transport roller moving mechanism 60 moving the roller 31 to a first position where the roller receives cards from the supplying section 10 and cleans the surfaces of cards C, a second position where the roller discharges the cards C printed by the printing section 50 to a storage section 20 and a third position where the roller 31 is to be cleaned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
