<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact portable print unit, a supporting body for supplying consumables stored in the print unit and an image forming apparatus having them, where the supporting body achieves space saving, and which has good handleability even when it is shared by a plurality of users. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 has the print unit 10 and a tank unit 20 attachably/detachably supporting the print unit 10. In such a state that the print unit is not attached to the tank unit, an image is formed by the print unit singly, and in such a state that the print unit is attached to the tank unit, charging and the supply of the consumables are performed from the tank unit to the print unit, and also the image is formed on a sheet fed from a guide port 30 to a paper feeding port 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
