<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small pipe joint in which a male body and a female body cannot be separated from each other once they are coupled to each other. <P>SOLUTION: This pipe joint 10 is composed of the male body 12, and the female body 30 into which the male body 12 is inserted. The male body 12 has an end side having a smaller outside diameter, and includes, sequentially from its end, a third cylindrical portion 14, an outside tapered portion 16, a second cylindrical portion 18, a trapezoidal groove 20 locked with an elastic lock ring body 42, and a first cylindrical portion 22. The female body 30 has an innermost end having a smaller inside diameter, and includes, sequentially from its end, a first inner wall surface 34 arranged on the inlet side of an opening 32, a two-stage groove 40 storing the elastic lock ring body 42 and composed of a locking groove 36 and a storage groove 38, a second inner wall surface 44, an inside tapered portion 46, and a third inner wall surface 48. The elastic lock ring body 42 has a gap formed by partially cutting an annular member, and the peripheral diameter of the elastic lock ring body when the elastic lock ring body 42 is elastically deformed to allow their end surfaces between the gap to contact each other is formed smaller than the inside diameter of the first inner wall surface 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
