<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further surely prevent double feeding in a sheet supply device for successively supplying sheets stacked for recording an image one by one. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet supply device is provided with a plurality of air flow blowing devices for blowing an air flow upon an end surface of the sheet S stacked in a sheet tray 21. The respective devices have a blowout range varying means 44 restricting a blowout range of an air blowout port 41. These blowout range varying means can be vertically moved, and a blowout range is increased and decreased by a driving device 45. Operation of one blowout range varying means 44a is controlled so as to become different from operation of the other blowout range varying means 44b, and the state of the air flow blown off becomes different depending on the blowout port.
