<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which input works can be performed smoothly by either input method of finger touching/pen touching. <P>SOLUTION: This information processing apparatus 1 is operated by touching a touch panel with a touch pen or a finger. A touch pen attaching part 6 for the touch pen 5 is provided to an apparatus body 1a of the information processing apparatus 1, and a detection means 8 is provided for detecting attachment/detachment of the touch pen 5. In order to touch a desired portion on a touch panel 2 with the touch pen 5 or the finger for making the information processing apparatus 1 perform processing operations, an input indicator is displayed at the desired portion of the touch panel 2. The apparatus is provided with a display size control means 9 for controlling the display size of the input indicator so that when the detection means 8 detects that the touch pen 5 may not be attached to the touch pen attaching part 6, the displayed input indicator is small while when the detection means 8 detects that touch pen 5 may be attached to the touch pen attaching part 6, the displayed input indicator is large. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
